future of work
Where is work headed....man has progressed through the ages of trading time and labour for something of economic value. How will the type of work change in next 10 to 20 years....
Knowledge workers today are able to take advantage of communications and internet technologies and be productive at their convenience.
How will this change across various industries and how will it affect the younger generation?
There will come a time when the boundaries of work locations will reduce and people will get compensated for the amount of time they spend on a specific task that could be in blocks of 30 minutes or an hour. This will impact knowledge based roles.
Most of interaction with colleagues will be using unified messaging. Location will not be a constraint and collaboration tools will be the enablers of work.
